RESCUED Denim Workshops
Discover Sustainable Fashion with Titanic Denim RESCUED Workshops
At Titanic Denim, we recognize the pressing need to address the ethical and environmental impacts of fast fashion and the textile industry. Through our RESCUED workshops, we aim to empower individuals with knowledge and skills to become conscious consumers and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Did you know that the production of a single pair of jeans consumes approximately 8,000 liters of water? That's equivalent to three days' worth of water for an average household. From cotton cultivation to garment finishing, every stage of a jean's life cycle has environmental consequences.
Our workshops cater to various audiences, including schools, colleges, universities and corporates offering engaging talks and hands-on experiences. We educate participants about sustainable shopping practices, the importance of upcycling and textile recycling, and proper consumer care for clothing.
But it doesn't stop there. Participants also get the chance to develop practical skills like stitching, sewing, and garment cutting using recycled materials. Under the guidance of our experienced team, attendees can unleash their creativity and design their own denim products, from bags to accessories.
Leading our workshops is Marie Nancarrow, the visionary behind Titanic Denim. With accolades like
